How to use Google Docs
To edit a document: On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change. Start editing. When I use Google Drive other files (like PDF and JPG) open with respective apps (Adobe or image viewer). But when I select Word or Excel documents, the Google Drive app freezes. I have also clicked the 3 dots in top right of the spreadsheet file to open up an pop up menu; including an option to designate which program opens that file type.
