How to wipe computer clean and re-install the Win 7 Upgrade? Hi, My Win 7 Upgrade did not install properly. I am experiencing various issues, like the wireless says that I am not connected, but the internet works fine, and half the the time when I right-click, win explorer crashes. Anyway, I want to wipe my HD and reinstall win 7.

I had an article due the next day, spent four hours writing, saved it to the desktop (nope, didn't think to use Google docs, or save it to the cloud or put it on OneNote - my bad) and figured it would still be there the next morning.
Before doing so, I would like to wipe clean the PC of all contents and then install more recent software for him i.e. Vista or even Windows 7. I understand that this is possible but would appreciate some advice/guidance on doing this. I also want to know if the PC is capable of running more recent software?
